Easter 2023
I will share the precious simple good news from the Bible and a few photos from my journey to Israel in 2013, the trip of a lifetime. I felt safer there than anywhere else in the world and I now read my Bible in living color.
“For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the scriptures; and that He was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve. After that, He was seen of above 500 brethren at once. ” I Corinthians 15:3-6 (KJV)
“But these are written, that ye might BELIEVE that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through His name.” John 20:31 (KJV)
“These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD.” John 16:33

I pray you have received the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. If you don’t have a local church where you can worship Him in freedom, I encourage you to visit Thru the Bible at http://www.ttb.org They also have a free app and teach through the Bible in 5 years in over 120 languages so you can listen in your heart language!
This Resurrection Day is especially unique for me because my birthday is on the same day! I don’t recall this ever happening before. I thank Him for saving my soul when I was 15 years old and for giving me all these years to grow in His grace and serve Him. But I long for that day when He takes me home to heaven and delivers me from my old sin nature so I can worship, fellowship, and serve Him in my new body. What love that He made it possible for me to be with Him for all eternity!
I always celebrated my birthday with my dear sister, Marsha, when we were growing up because her birthday was the day after mine. I thought we were twins when we were young because our mother often dressed us alike. The Lord took Marsha home to heaven almost eight years ago. It will be a wonderful reunion when we meet again! Thank you for letting me go down memory lane.
