Christ is Risen!

Easter 2020

A brother who lives in Israel posted photos of empty streets in Jerusalem because of their quarantine. I will share the precious simple good news from the Bible and a few photos from my journey to Israel in 2013, the trip of a lifetime. If you ever have an opportunity to visit Israel, GO. I felt safer there than anywhere else in the world and I now read my Bible in living color.

“For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the scriptures; and that He was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve. After that, He was seen of above 500 brethren at once. ” I Corinthians 15:3-6 (KJV)

“But these are written, that ye might BELIEVE that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through His name.” John 20:31 (KJV)

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD.” John 16:33

During these strange days of quarantine as the Coronavirus rages through the world this Easter Sunday, I encourage you to go to http://www.ttb.org and listen to a message by Dr. J. Vernon McGee. Even alone at home, we worship joyfully our risen Savior!
